Approach

Equitable Development Consultants' approach to development consulting is to assess opportunities to leverage resources toward the development and implementation of conventional and conceptual community development initiatives that will lead to more opportunities, jobs, investments and wealth for all community stakeholders. Our approach is predicted on the belief that greater economic opportunities is communal with the increase of community participation, collaboration and ownership in the economic development process.

Our belief is that equitable and sustainable economics provide the impetus for wealth creation in low- and moderate-income communities.

The essence of our services is to:

	Develop community economic development programs and projects tied to the communities assets needs, plans and regional economy

	Create nonprofit business enterprises that expand training, employment and economic opportunities as well as generate revenue;

	Provide business consultant services, including loan brokering, to support minority business ownership and growth;

	Facilitate and implement commercial revitalization strategies in neighborhood business district;

	Provide project management services during the planning and predevelopment phase of real estate development projects;

	Market business, franchise and investment opportunities to community residents, entrepreneurs, investors and nonprofits;

	Conduct financial, investment and business education workshop to support wealth-building strategies;

	Implement capacity-building programs and initiatives to help organizations establish itself as a community-based institution
